Wynk Limited visited CBN to share smart AI and technology tools that protect bank customers and improve financial security.
A Nigerian technology company named Wynk Limited recently visited the headquarters of the Central Bank of Nigeria in Abuja to share new ways artificial intelligence and digital tools can help make banking safer and easier for everyone. During this important meeting, the team from Wynk presented simple yet powerful ideas designed to protect ordinary citizens, stop money fraud, and help the central bank supervise commercial banks and fintech companies across the country.
The visit comes at a time when Nigeria’s central bank is actively encouraging financial institutions to adopt modern technology. According to reports, the Central Bank of Nigeria has mandated the use of automated tools and artificial intelligence to monitor financial transactions and stop financial crimes.
Additionally, Tech Africa News reported that the apex bank launched real-time monitoring tools aimed at cutting fraud losses by up to 70 percent. Wynk Limited’s presentation directly supports these national efforts by offering practical computer systems that address real-world banking challenges.
The core focus of the discussion between Wynk Limited and the central bank was how technology can improve everyday banking for the average person. One major area highlighted was AI-enabled complaints management. Many bank customers in Nigeria face long delays when reporting failed transactions or lost funds. By using artificial intelligence, customer complaints can be answered much faster and in multiple local languages, making sure every Nigerian can easily seek help regardless of the language they speak.
Wynk Limited also introduced supervisory intelligence and early-warning analytics tools. These tools act like digital watchdogs that scan financial systems in real time. Instead of waiting for fraud or systemic problems to happen before taking action, the technology alerts regulators early so they can stop bad actors before customers lose their hard-earned savings.
Reflecting on the meeting, the team at Wynk Limited described the encounter as “A meaningful day for the Wynk Limited team at the Central Bank of Nigeria.” The company emphasized that technology should not be built just for the sake of making software, but to genuinely solve society’s big problems. In their statement, the team noted, “At Wynk, we see technology as more than software. Wynk Limited is an innovative technology company building digital solutions for financial services and central bank supervisory compliance.”

Wynk Limited is led by Dr. Jerry Igwilo, a serial entrepreneur and experienced investment adviser, along with a growing team of software developers, product managers, regulatory specialists, and financial experts. Speaking on the importance of meeting directly with top financial regulators, the team stated, “What made this visit particularly significant was the quality of the engagement. Presenting ideas is one thing. Sitting across the table from people responsible for the stability, supervision, and development of one of Africa’s largest financial systems gives those ideas a different level of responsibility.”
Wynk Limited plans to continue collaborating with regulatory institutions to make sure financial technology is used safely and responsibly. The company expressed deep appreciation to the leadership of the Central Bank of Nigeria for opening their doors to innovative ideas. Looking ahead to future projects, the company concluded its update with a clear message: “There is still much work ahead, but we are encouraged by the opportunity to contribute… We keep building.”
