Fintech firm PayTic expands into Saudi Arabia to help banks and businesses run automated payment systems using artificial intelligence.
Financial technology firm PayTic has officially expanded its business into Saudi Arabia to help local banks, money apps, and online merchants run their back-office payment operations using artificial intelligence.
Headquartered in Canada and Morocco, the software company builds smart digital tools that automatically handle behind the scenes banking tasks like matching daily transaction records, handling card disputes, checking regulatory rules, and preventing calculation errors.
Supported by top Middle East business expansion platform AstroLabs, PayTic is bringing its artificial intelligence tools into the region to replace slow manual paper checks, helping local financial firms process millions of digital payments quickly without system delays or lost money.
PayTic officially announced its major international expansion across regional business networks on Thursday, September 3, 2026.
The move places PayTic inside one of the fastest-growing digital money markets in the world as Saudi Arabia pushes forward with its Vision 2030 economic plan to build a cashless society.
Having already deployed its artificial intelligence programs across more than thirty financial institutions in 15 countries across Europe, North America, and the Middle East, PayTic is establishing a permanent local presence to support giant Middle Eastern banks and fast-growing technology startups.
The main reason PayTic is launching in Saudi Arabia now is that millions of everyday citizens are using smartphones, debit cards, and online apps to buy goods instead of carrying paper cash.
When transaction numbers surge, bank back office staff can get overwhelmed trying to manually double check every transfer, resolve customer refund disputes, and pay international credit card network fees.
By using smart artificial intelligence agents trained specifically on financial rules, companies can let computers check transactions automatically in real time.
This reduces costly administrative mistakes, speeds up card refund claims, and ensures that banking networks stay safe, legal, and reliable for shoppers.
Explaining why bringing intelligent artificial intelligence tools to the Middle Eastern money market is vital as digital shopping grows nationwide, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PayTic Imad Boumahdi said that Saudi Arabia stands out as one of the most ambitious financial technology markets, noting that “as digital payments become a core layer of the Kingdom’s economy and national payment systems continue to scale, the operational layer behind those payments must become more intelligent, structured, and resilient”.

Detailing how the partnership supports local financial institutions, Imad Boumahdi added that the move “reflects a long term commitment to supporting Saudi banks, fintechs, processors, and enterprise merchants with the AI powered components they need to operate payment systems with greater accuracy, efficiency, and control”.
Welcoming PayTic into the country’s technology sector, Vice President of Commercial at AstroLabs Fouad Fattal stated that the entry comes at a critical moment, emphasizing that “as digital payments continue to scale, financial institutions are looking for stronger, smarter infrastructure behind the scenes”.
Highlighting why smart computer programs are necessary to handle back office workloads, Fouad Fattal added that “AI is becoming essential to how payment operations are managed at scale, particularly across reconciliation, compliance, reporting, and dispute management”.
By expanding into Saudi Arabia, PayTic is helping modernize how financial back offices run. Using smart artificial intelligence to automate payment processing ensures that everyday money transfers stay fast, online shopping remains secure, and modern digital banks run smoothly around the clock.
