Global healthcare giant Novo Nordisk, best known worldwide as the maker of popular diabetes and weight loss medications like Ozempic, has formed a major technological partnership with AI pioneer Anthropic.

Under the new agreement, the Danish pharmaceutical company will integrate Anthropic’s advanced computer models, including its Claude scientific reasoning tools, directly into its research laboratories.

Rather than relying solely on traditional laboratory testing, scientists will use smart software engines to analyze complex human biology, study how chemical compounds interact with body cells, and design new treatments for chronic illnesses far faster than previously possible.

The major international partnership was officially announced by corporate leaders in Bagsværd, Denmark, and San Francisco, California, on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, as reported across global business and medical news outlets.
