Computer scientist Diogo Almeida, a key researcher who helped build the underlying technology behind ChatGPT, has introduced a new AI model designed specifically to handle complex computer logic and instant decision making.

Created by his technology startup TypeSafe AI, the new software tool named Jev, is built to run inside software applications rather than talk directly to humans through conversational chat boxes.

Instead of generating long paragraphs, essays, or code text like traditional chatbots, Jev acts like an instant digital brain inside software systems, evaluating data and making rapid choices to help business computer applications run automatically.
