Meta is rolling out AI-powered shopping features on Facebook and Instagram aimed at helping users discover products and make purchases more easily. The new experience uses AI to summarize product reviews, highlight key points, and provide additional information such as brand details, recommended items, and potential discounts.
The AI pop-ups also include an updated one-tap checkout, powered by partners like Stripe and PayPal, with future integrations planned for Adyen and Shopify. Advertisers remain in control of their checkout provider, letting users complete purchases without leaving the app.

Instagram Reels product catalogs in 22 countries, helping creators feature products in their videos.
