Lovable, the European startup behind the growing “vibe-coding” trend, has confirmed a new $400 million funding round that values the company at $13.3 billion.

The Series C round was led by Menlo Ventures and the Scaleup Europe Fund, with more than a dozen other investors also taking part. The funding confirms earlier reports that Lovable was seeking to roughly double its valuation.

The new investment comes just weeks after Lovable said its annualized revenue run rate reached $500 million in June. The company’s previous funding round, announced in December, raised $330 million at a $6.6 billion valuation.

Lovable’s rapid growth has also increased demand on its technology infrastructure. The company says its platform now hosts 60 million projects and attracts about 900 million visitors each month.

To support that growth, Lovable has developed its own AI model while also offering access to other leading AI models. It has also expanded its infrastructure through a multi year agreement with Google Cloud that is expected to increase its usage fivefold.

Beyond its own platform, Lovable has started investing in other European startups. One recent investment was in Danish company Atech, which is developing vibe-coding software for designing hardware.

The latest funding gives Lovable more capital to expand its platform as competition in AI-powered software development continues to grow.
