Kraken’s Krak App Unveils Cash-Back Debit Card for Everyday Payments

Payward-backed crypto platform Kraken has officially launched a consumer cash-back debit card through its fintech app, non-custodial crypto wallet and payment application krak.

A fintech app created by the developers of crypto exchange Kraken has launched a cashback debit card in the U.S. The release reflects a broader industry shift, as digital assets transition from speculative investments into underlying technology for everyday financial tools.

Issued by its partner app Krak, the Krak Card provides up to 2% back in cash or bitcoin, with reward tiers scaling based on a customer’s total account balance. Unlike point-based programs, rewards are paid out directly as money.

By launching this card, Krak places Kraken in direct competition with major fintech and payment apps as cryptocurrency integrates deeper into mainstream finance.

Through this card, Kraken aims to secure a larger share of daily customer spending, retain deposits and keep more assets on its platform.
