Keystone Bank has inducted 62 young professionals into its workforce following their completion of an intensive training program at the Keystone Bank Learning Academy.
Keystone Bank Limited has added 62 new young professionals to its workforce after they completed the 29th edition of the bank’s Banking School training program.
The latest group of 62 trainees 34 women and 28 men finished a tough four-month training course at Keystone Bank. During the program, they picked up the technical skills, hands-on experience and practical knowledge needed to start their careers in banking.
This group recorded the highest exam scores in the history of Keystone Bank’s training school, highlighting the top talent brought into the program and the quality of the training provided.
Speaking at the event, Keystone Bank’s CEO, Hassan Imam, stated that the graduation is more than just finishing a training course it marks these young professionals as a key part of the bank’s future.
Imam noted that the bank is intentionally investing in its staff, explaining that its long-term success relies heavily on the quality, skill and character of its team.
He added, “Today is very special for us. We are not just graduating 62 trainees we are welcoming 62 young professionals into the next stage of their careers and into the future of Keystone Bank.”
He noted that Keystone Bank has achieved major milestones in winning new customers, increasing deposits, boosting profits, driving tech innovation and earning industry awards and is now leveraging this momentum to pursue even bigger goals.
He urged the new inductees to view themselves as builders of the institution, stressing that as modern banking changes, the industry needs leaders who balance innovation with good judgment, ambition with discipline, and above all strong integrity.
“Your graduation is just the beginning. Keep learning, pushing your limits and staying true to your values. While your skills can open doors, it is your character that decides how far you will actually go.”
Dele Alabi, President and Chairman of Council at the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), praised Keystone Bank for its ongoing investment in young talent. He noted that programs like the Banking School are vital for training the next generation of banking leaders.
Alabi noted that modern banking demands both technical skill and strong ethics, urging the new graduates to make integrity the foundation of their entire careers.
Also speaking, Abimbola Alabi, Head of Keystone Bank’s Learning Academy described the program as rewarding and transformative highlighting the remarkable growth the trainees achieved during the course.
Alabi noted that the program was intentionally built to shape not just capable entry-level bankers, but future executives who can rise to the top of the financial services industry.
“What we have seen is young graduates turning into fully equipped professionals who truly understand the realities of banking. They have grown immensely in confidence, practical knowledge, teamwork and leadership.”

During the program, the trainees took part in branch attachments, sports, social events, community service and a prison visit. These activities were designed to build teamwork, leadership, collaboration, social responsibility and overall personal growth.
