WhatsApp is rolling out several new features, including AI-powered suggested replies based on your conversations. The update enhances its “Writing Help” feature, which launched last August, now helping users draft, rephrase, proofread, and adjust the tone of messages so they can get them “just right.”
To access AI Writing Help, users tap the chat bar, select the stickers icon, and then tap the pencil with sparkledust icon indicating an AI feature. Meta assures that chats remain private even when using AI assistance.
Other updates include:
Freeing up space: Users can now find and delete large files within chats without wiping entire conversations.
Photo touch-ups: Meta AI can remove distractions, change backgrounds, or apply new styles directly in a chat.
Chat history transfers: Users can move chats from iOS to Android and within the same platform.
Multiple accounts: iOS now supports two WhatsApp accounts simultaneously, a feature already on Android.
Sticker suggestions: WhatsApp can now suggest stickers as users type emojis.
These updates are rolling out gradually and will be available to all users soon.
