Netflix is making playtime more fun for children with the launch of a brand-new stand-alone app called Netflix Playground.
A Safe and Fun Space for Kids
The app is included as part of a Netflix subscription, with no ads or in-app purchases. Designed for children aged eight and under, it provides access to a growing library of games featuring popular kids’ show characters.
Games You Can Play Anywhere
Netflix Playground works offline, making it perfect for long airplane rides, grocery trips, or any time kids need entertainment without a Wi-Fi connection. The app is available on both iOS and Android, and is currently live in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, the Philippines, and New Zealand. It will expand worldwide on April 28.

- Playtime With Peppa Pig – Explore Peppa’s world with playful activities
- Sesame Street – Practice memory and coordination with fun activities
- Let’s Color, Storybots, Bad Dinosaurs – Other interactive titles for kids

Netflix first explored games in 2021 but faced challenges with traction. The company has since focused on party titles for TV and is also looking at cloud gaming in the future. Netflix Playground marks a fresh effort to provide a dedicated, safe, and engaging space for young players.
