MoMo Payment Service Bank (MoMo PSB), the fintech subsidiary of MTN Nigeria has appointed Bode Abifarin as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer subject to regulatory approval.
MoMo Payment Service Bank (MoMo PSB), the fintech subsidiary of MTN Nigeria has appointed Bode Abifarin as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer effectively September 1, 2026.
Abifarin brings over 23 years of executive experience across financial services, consulting, digital payments, fintech, corporate strategy, operations and business transformation.
MoMo PSB, which operates under a Central Bank of Nigeria license, stated that Abifarin brings a strong blend of strategic leadership, operational expertise and deep insight into Africa’s evolving financial ecosystem.
She previously served as Chief Operating Officer at fintech unicorn Flutterwave, where she played a key role in driving its multi-market expansion.
Her career also includes a 15-year tenure at KPMG, advising organizations across Africa on strategy, business transformation, customer experience and growth initiatives.
