• Early Career: He started at the Nigerian International Bank (a subsidiary of Citibank) in 1989 and later held senior roles at UBA and First Bank.
• First Bank Era: At First Bank, he rose to become the Executive Director (South Directorate), overseeing more than 140 branches.
• Diamond Bank GMD/CEO: In 2011, he was appointed the Group Managing Director/CEO of Diamond Bank. He is credited with transforming Diamond Bank into a retail banking powerhouse before his voluntary retirement in 2014 to enter politics.

After years of focusing on public service, Dr. Otti returned to his “first love” by founding Signature Bank Limited.
